I hope Tewbow falls down and hurts his big toe , and he becomes a little slow . He is just too fast and too strong ,we are not going to be able to stop him . So we better score evertime we touch that football. That is all you have to worry about , the Gators are going to score at will. Now we will see how good our QB is . Want we ??
:geaux: Totally agree and a great win for the Tigers! This is the type of posts we ought to be seeing. Time to knock it off with all the negative stuff and the "haters" and "suck it", etc., etc.:rolleye33: Let's enjoy this big win and try to be civil to one another.:thumb: :LSU231:
I think we aren't understanding each other. I'm thrilled LSU is undefeated. I'm thrilled we aren't playing our best and finding ways to win. I'm thrilled we are playing better defense than last year. But I am worried because we dominated the first half and only had 6 points. I am worried because we are inconsistant on the offensive side of the ball, red zone and short yardage, QB sneak on 4th. I think its safe to say that most defenses that we are going to face are better than Georgia. If you are looking at the other yardage from the game you might have a point but you are taking my statements out of context chronologically as well as missing the point that we had only 6 points at the half. I will be thrilled if we are able to play a little better against Florida!
Well, what a game! That Georgia TD pass into the endzone was incredible and that Charles Scott TD run was even more so. (by the way, was that a Charles Scott up the middle on first down play?) We certainly owed them one after last year!! Just like I said, I went to the brew pub after work, ordered a (couple of) Turbodogs and a large onion ring and settled in at the bar. I had an enjoyable conversation with a fellow who graduated in Journalism from LSU around 4 years before my time. This guy was actually a producer for John Ferguson on the LSU radio broadcast team, back in the day. He's now a northshore resident and I think I convinced him to register and post here. He had great insight into LSU athletics as well as the History of LSU athletics and would be a valuable contributor to this forum. He even admitted to me that one of his first games was the Ole Miss game involving Cannon's punt return when he was twelve yrs old. The most important play was the goal line stand to preserve the victory later in the fourth quarter One of the topics of conversation was how terrible it is for Hawthorne to not give in game updates for down and distance, what inning, who's winning, etc. He explained to me that It really is Hawthorne's responsibility to do that, and that he does indeed have a producer speaking to him via his earphone that could remind him to update, but the producer is the last resort because the color guy also has a primary responsibility that supersedes the producer. So I guess that means Doug Moreau sucks just as much as Hawthorne when it comes to updating the game frequently. At any rate it is a total team failure when the broadcast team fails to give us the game situation often. But I digress... Great victory, Tigers...and Florida....You're up !!!....in death valley. We really needed this win to bring all of us chicken littles and sunshine pumpers together.:hihi:. Relax and enjoy. Saints kick off at 3:00pmopcorn:.
Saban coached LSU to the most humiliating loss to Georgia in LSU History. Saban's last team at LSU got beat down 16-45 @ Georgia in 2004. How in the hell did that happen? Here are all the losses LSU had to Georgia in history... who stands out as the biggest loser? 2004 -- 29 pts (16-45) -- Saban!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1948 -- 22 pts (0-22) 1991 -- 21 pts (10-31) 2005 -- 20 pts (14-34) 1947 -- 16 pts (19-35) 1952 -- 17 pts (14-27) 1978 -- 14 pts (17-24) 1979 -- 7 pts (14-21) 1949 -- 7 pts (0-7) 2008 -- 14 pts (38-52) 1999 -- 1 pt (22-23) 1998 -- 1 pt (27-28)
