1. I wish the option would have never been invented.
  2. What kills me with LSU's offense and what I feel negates the speed of the runningbacks is the use of 1 foot splits... the line is bunched up... put those guys ast least 3 feet apart (which is average)... Texas Tech uses almost 6 foot splits...
  3. Some of the play calling in the first half left a lot to be desired.
  4. When you let a team hang around too long, it usually comes back to bite you. I hope that's not the case today. We are playing too well to lose this game.:tigereye:
  5. Darrell Royal would beg to differ.
  6. this is INSANE I will NEVER feel even comfortable with Miles as head coach . poor decitions poor coaching no discipline Great recruiting but AWFUL coaching , outstanding talent EVERY yr and never the coaching to go along with it . LSU wins INSPITE of Les Miles NEVER because of him my new slogan is LESS Les i;m thinking the National Championship was a fluke under Miles
  7. I think we're getting better though. We at least look better this week. The defense is playing LSU football and the offense is doing well until it gets to the redzone. I believe we'll be even better in the second half. Georgia's defense has to be getting tired.

  8. Actually an NELU alum. And yeah I would say he's pretty accurate.
  9. This game should at least be 14 - 0 right now.

The JJ interception he locked onto his WR and never looked away.
The 4-1 call was just horrid. They were at least getting 2 yards everytime they spread the field, why would you not spread it again and just let JJ QB sneak it?
And the end of the half I was a bit upset, but I think Miles answered it fair enough. Don't run the risk of an INT and give Gawga the ball back and it was definitely ou of Jasper's range. I think you could have handled it a bit differenly but I can't say I'm mad about the call.

It also seems like Miles opens up the offense between the 20's, but in the redzone he doesn't want to let JJ throw it.

I'm really impressed with LSU's Defense. Notice how the first 4 games Chavis was up in the box calling the plays in but this game he was down on the sidelines? It certainly looks like Chavis has these guys fired up. Gawga's one big play was off a push by the WR.

I'm with the announcers so far. LSU could be up more, but they're going to eventually wear down the defense and be able to have their way. This first drive will be important for LSU to at least get 3 so we're up by over a TD.
  10. 4 trips inside the opposing teams 20 and 6 points to show for it, he ain't far from being right. However other than redzone offense the team has looked much better than expected. OL looked good until the last couple short yardage plays where they were blown off the line. Bad thing is you can't leave that many points on the table playing in the SEC on the road and expect to win many games. JJ needs to make better decisions and they need to scrap the option altogether. Hopefully the Tigers will dominate the second half like the first and they will punch it in the endzone a couple of times. This game should already be out of reach and the second units should be getting their uni's dirty.
