It is the coaching that is the problem. Particularly the DCs and whoever teaches tackling and coverage. The big problem on offense is the quarterback, but you can't blame Miles for recruiting Lee. He was a highly recruited QB.
If our defense can play well in the second half i think we will win. Jefferson should be able to move the ball and i would roll him out and give him the run pass option. For the life of me i dont understand why crowton runs the option to the short side of the field every single time. The short side makes it easier on the defense to cover the play. If you are going to do it to the short side throw a reverse to keep the defense honest once in awhile. Make the defense have to cover more ground. With our offensive line i think we can get a few big plays. Come on guys i know you can do it. A little dissapointed we mismanaged the clock at the end of the first half.

That's true, but even Ohio St. had us 10 - 0. This year, we scored first ONCE against Tulane. Something's wrong with that. There is no excuse to go down 31 - 3 to Troy. Something is terribly wrong with the week's preparation. I'm sure they don't plan to let the other team go up by a few TD's, then put in the game plan. It just doesn't make sense.
