"ART. 3 . . . A valid fair-catch signal is the extending and lateral waving of one arm, at full arm's length above the head, by any member of the receiving team." Apparently it was an 'invalid' fair catch and you still can't move the ball forward.
The problem is that the Offensive line is getting that butts whipped. Unless they "man up" Scott won't be going anywhere.
Our whole team is 'jekyl and hyde.' The biggest problem is that we don't have any upperclassmen that stepped up as leaders, 150% proud to be a Tiger, 150% playmakers, 150% "We WILL win," 150% "we MUST win," 150% "This is LSU," 150% in-your-face, etc. In the preseason comments I read from the blue ribbon analysis of LSU, they interviewed our coaches and our coaches gave a lot of quotes saying that this team is going to very much miss the leadership of guys like Hester, Dorsey, and Steltz. I think our underclassmen have some great leaders ready to step up in the future (Chad Jones for ex), but this current crop of LSU upperclassmen doesn't have it... hence the whole 'jekyl and hyde' thing with our team this year.
Well, apparently the "ref" that CBS has in their booth says the refs on the field were right. Of course, ref's - like Police - take up for each other, right or wrong.
If Lee didn't get hurt, no one says he sparked anything. I hope the guy gets well, but he has proven time and time and time and time and time and time again that he can't cut it against teams that aren't Troy. JJ has played better in the little time he's been on the field the Lee has almost all season. Long Live Jefferson! LLJ Long Live Cool Jefferson LL Cool J? Hmmm... Ok, maybe not.
Yeah, I agree. You would think people like Beckwith, Tyson J., Wells, Byrd, etc. would be leaders, but it seems the leaders this year are Scott, Alem, and Freshman (Peterson and Jefferson). I really think that the Seniors got a little spoiled after the last few years and really didn't improve in the offseason. Sometimes that happens to you coming off of a National Championship.
I disagree. Miles is 3-0 in bowl games, kicked the crap out of VT, ND, Miami, and Ohio St. The man has proven he can get his team up for games. Just because he can't do it this year reflects more on the current guys that make up our team than on Miles. Now granted, Miles recruited them... so he shares blame for that.
The guys in the CBS booth are a couple of jokes. One thinks he knows everything and the other one's a "Yes" man. :dis:
