give a TON of credit to illinois' pitchers... the QB haig is one hell of an athlete. ben reeser is a damn good pitcher too. their three starters had a combined ERA of 0.77 before this series.
The batting this weekend has been some of the most inconsistent I've ever seen. Either everyone is hitting or no one is hitting. We also had some inconsistent fielding and poor base running, especially in the first game. This coming week is another 5 game week, with SLU and ULL during the week. These should be easily winnable and will hopefully rebuild some confidence before the opening SEC series against Kentucky.
