i couldnt find any either to listen on the way home when we were down a couple of weeks ago for opening weekend. i am finding basketball listed on xm but not baseball. i guess its "too early" for baseball. hopefully after march madness we will start getting baseball.
CORRECT - Also remember Valley only lost to State by a run. In that game and our game they put their two best pitchers on the mound for mid week games. It is a long season - 50 + games - no team will be at their absolute best every game - count on it. The Illini have some good players and a series like this is something they have looked forward to since the season began - playing the No. 1 team. It will be a test of our Tigers - but I am confident they are up to the task. ldskule:
If you have Sirius, you have to add the "Best of XM" package to get SEC programming. All LSU football games are on XM, and most (if not all) Basketball as well. Baseball however has been left out of the loop so far.
I get most of the SEC games all the time, just not LSU. check out this out, basketball schedule for this weekend including best of XM. The LSU-Aub game not even listed. http://www.sirius.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Sirius/Page&c=SportsSchedule&cid=1225228212931
First batter popped to Dean. Ranaudo walked the second batter. Third batter struck out. Fourth batter got a hit off Ranaudo's hip, Helenihi didn't get the throw to first in time, one run scored. 1-0 Illinois, 2 outs, top 1st.
Ranaudo strikes the batter out. 1-0 Illinois going into the bottom of the first. (will start posting names... just realized no one was doing pbp)
Landry, Schimpf and Dean due up... Starting pitcher for the Illini is Hagan Landry fouls a bunch of pitches off. Hits the ball to shortstop who throws him out. 1 out, bottom of 1st.
