Nice hard fought half there. I'll take it, but I would like to see LSU more effective on offense. Eventually McElroy will connect with one of his open receivers.

Yo, JayB. I saw your response to me earlier in the thread. I haven't been hiding. For some unknown reason my ISP at home blocked tigerforums. (Personal update: I got engaged last month.) I am at my fiancee's apartment watching the game this morning, so I can access tigerforums.

I have to agree. Something is foul inside SEC officiating. There have been a few bad calls, and in my opinion on both sides.

It's nice to hear everybody critiquing the other team's quarterback for a change and not ours!

Tigers need more first downs. Need to eat more clock per drive.

Jefferson can't take a hit ... from a 305 pounder using his helmet as a weapon. That's all I got. :hihi:

The two drives after the TD not so great. Gotta move those chains as you say... Does Miles have any trickery in store for the 2nd half?

Game is going how I thought it would. I love our D. So many great players out there, Peterson for sure, and Kelvin Sheppard is playing his butt off.

I think the difference in the game so far is that JJ has outplayed McElroy by a bit. Scott had a great run for a first down, just about 5 yds, but everyone thought he was stopped after 1. I liked DeAngelo Peterson at tight end, he's mobile, that conversion from split end looks good for a kid listed at 240.

    I'm happy so far.

    Keep it up, :geaux:

i just want to see a better 3rd down conversion percentage. i said earlier in the week that it would take a couple of sustained drives for LSU to have a shot. defense is playing lights-out. hopefully we'll be a little smoother in the second half.

the only thing that worries me is the prevent defense. so far, so good. but i expect to see a heavy dose of mark ingram in the second half. i think we get into the endzone twice in the second half. 21-13 final score?
