one of the best parts of thanksgiving. the day after. leftovers, football, and having goten rid of the family/company. i think that the rules for these things need to be changed and the loser gets the "trophy".
Wow... who would have thought my comments about the stadium would have started all that? Moving on... Arkansas sucks.
Anybody getting excited for this game? It's the last one of the regular season, and I hope they end on a positive note. :geaux:
Honestly I just want to see if JJ can play with confidence and leadership the whole game (regardless of outcome)...:tigereye:
My week started with complete apathy, based on the bowl game outlook. However, after remembering that I'm a grown man, this is college football, and there are actual, genuine, REAL tragedies happening around the world (Mumbai, for example...), I've adjusted my attitude. Anxious pretty much sums it up for me.
Very excited. I'm hoping like hell for a victory, and for JJ and the defense to both step up and play like Ttigers. But mainly, I'm excited out of pure curiosity. I want to see how JJ plays today. I think there is only so much we can take out of his game vs. Ole Miss. Today, we (should) get to see more clearly what we've got in this kid. This will be the first game where he is preparing solely with the 1st teamers for a week, most of the playbook should be open for him, and our opponent is preparing for mostly (if not only) him. This should give us a much cleare picture than what we already have of the kid. We now know that Lee was not ready for the rigors of the SEC, let's see what JJ can do. And just in case, can I be the first to say "put in McCartney" :hihi:
