After thinking about this game further... The last shot of each half was HUGE! Congrats to Bass and Neltner Both shots happened with less than a second left...
"...LSU improved to 13-1 at home this season and has an SEC-best 41 home victories since the start of the 2002-03 season...." And we have bozos on here that still want our coach fired.
Vitale was talking about "baby Shaq" in the Kentucky game vs. Miss State.. What Dicky V say's is the word.
AH, I wasn't gonna respond, but since you do have a degree in journalism I guess I will. I see the point you're making though. At first I wasn't really thinking about any of the big-named broadcast "journalists," rather the print journalists that ask athletes questions and get verbally molested by said athletes. Sorry 'bout that buddy, I'm passionate about my career path and I'm ready to defend it in any way possible. No hard feelings, eh?
tack's game offensively was awesome but man he and d mitch SHUT DOWN shelton and steele tonight, they combined for 9 points, wow, what a job considering both steele and shelton are both taller players and can shoot over them on the perimeter, the only player that didnt contribute tonight was hud, winston shot all over him, which is strange because he has played well in big games (see lsu-arizona, the sec tourney his frosh year), awesome win for the tigers, and tonight i believe a star was born in tack minor, talk about a gutsy performance, he was all over the place!
that espn article said that the students rushed the court. I didn't see anything but a dogpile on TV. LSUgradin, did you bum rush the LSU security?
The fans did not rush the court. There was a pile of players and coaches and maybe a handful of courtside spectators that joined in.
