LSU returns 17 starters from a team that only lost to top-10 oppponents on the road. The four classes playing were ranked #1, #15, #1, and #2 coming out of high school. LSU is talented and deep.

2005 will be a great year.

Carter's concern is Saban promised he would be able to run track without the worry of missing spring drills. He is wondering if the new coach will have the same philosiphy...per his dad. I think the next coach would be a fool not to allow him to continue with this agreement.

How many recruits did Saban lose when he came from Mich St? There were guys committed to Dinardo who felt that Saban wasn't the man to play for but he swayed them. Once the new staff is in place and they start pointing out what is here (man look at the schedule next season) they will get everyone who is committed.

Bottom line is LSU is loaded for next season and a run for the Championship is not out of the question. A good defense along with what could be one of the most potent offenses we have ever had and I'm excited about the prospects. Look at all the times we have changed coaches in the past. We always have had a winning record and Saban has left us in an even better position than ever before. I'm going to get fitted for my new LSU 2005 Natioanl Champs ring right now.
