All I can say is WHEW!!! Looks like our defense is suspect and the offense will be OK. Lou Tepper needs to go... I didn't get to watch much of the second half...the power went out and we went outside to listen on the radio. Did we even show any simblance of a blitz? They let this guy sit all night to pick his recievers. If that doesn't get fixed we are in for a LOOOOOONG season.
I'll tell you what got me upset. When LSU got the ball back for that last drive and they ***PASSED THE BALL*** on the first three plays of the set of downs that ended with Doucet's great TD grab. That, my friends, was and is inexcusable. The way LSU ran (and ran, and ran) the ball all night, abandoning the run at that point in the game was ridiculous and unnecessary. Thank goodness for Early's great grab, otherwise...ugh, just a lucky, lucky win for the boys. May they play to their potential against the Vols...
