Shanahan's a control freak similar to Saban. He's got a great offensive mind. With the Bronco's losing bad today I think he may be gone at the end of the year.

Overrated and overhyped IMO. He's shown me nothing too impressive.

I would like Norm Chow. He would be able to do great things with JaMarcus. And imagine what he could do with Skyler in terms of getting him the ball. I think Skyler would be a Reggie Bush type player.

I agree, Norm Chow would be high on my list.

Willingham was hired Dec 13 at Univ of Washington by none other than former LSU Chancellor Mark Emmert.

i think it would be an interesting AU vs. LSU if tubs came to coach for LSU. That would lead to some pissed off Auburn fans for sure.:)

    What about Dan Reeves?

    Dan Reeves

    Positives:
    1. Sixth-winningest coach in NFL history with more than 200 wins as an NFL head coach behind only Don Shula, George Halas, Tom Landry, Curly Lambeau, and Chuck Noll.

    2. Only 60 years old (just seven years older than Saban)

    3. Coached his teams to four Superbowls

    4. He is available (no buyout)

    5. Salary may not be the most important thing, because he has made so much in the NFL.

    Negatives:
    1. History of heart problems
(I don’t see how this is a problem for LSU.)

    2. Has never coached in college.
(That doesn’t mean he can’t coach football, and his Hall of Fame-level coaching career should attract recruits who hope to be in the NFL in three to five years.)

Well, in his 23 years of coaching, he did earn "interim" head coach status twice. Once with the Redskins when Spurrier left, and obviously, now with Cleveland. I think it's safe to say that whatever experience he has, he's got credibility, and he's trusted by at least two NFL owners and/or GM's to run the team.

If Robinskie is lacking anything, it's the spotlight and exposure as being a head coach....but the facts show that he's got the skills, we just don't get to see it all the time.

I dunno....he's too close to Mike's cage just one time when Mike lets out one of his pre-game roars, and Reeves may end up at Our Lady of the Lake before the opening kickoff.

For all his greatness, personally, I'd pass on Reeves.
