Yes, but I'm already on record as stating Tubs is not a candidate.

    Alright, I would like
    Romeo Crennel
    Jon Gruden
Jim Johnson - Eagles def. co.
    Mike Shanahan
Ray Rhodes - Seahawks def. co.

Also, these def guys who use a 3-4 defense like Crennel, does anyone think that they would use 3-4 in college. I know Fridge at Maryland uses that and I think A&M did too, but almost all schools use the 4-3. We obviously do not have the personnel designed foir 3-4 and we would be in recontruction on defense again, so I am wary of any coach trying to implement 3-4 at LSU. I don't know if LSU fans are patient enough.

I still want to know how Chuckie Gruden's name keeps coming up. THAT would be worth the price of admission. With respect to work ethic, they say in Tampa that Gruden does 18 hour days even in the offseason. Supposedly has a blacked out office and sits like a vampire going over film day and night.

How about Doug Williams or Terry Robeiski (spelling?)? I think when MSU got Sylvester Croom, they found a rare gem. Got any more of those lurking around? I just happen to believe there are some awesome African American coaches in America who would make truly quality candidates for the HC job at LSU. I realize this doesn't fly with most (all) of you, but I believe there is someone out there that would make us proud.

My bad. I missed Ray Rhodes name and I didn't know the other. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

With the money you are willing to pay, why would you look at anyone who's not a head coach? Coodinators, especially the long term ones, are still in that job for a reason. There's many a good chef could not run a restaurant.
