I already watched my Fields of Glory DVD but I'm gonna save the 2003 season on DVD for gameday...That will get me even more fired up.
My HD broadcast was fine. The Superdome field is a little grayer than green (in stark contrast to the bright green field that Fla and Mich played on). Of course, after watching 6 games during the day, maybe one's vision was getting cloudy.
You shoulda called me OT, I would come and hollered with you. :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
Granny Holtz's logic is great....Man I can't believe he's getting paid to come up with this analysis. Since OSU held UM to 91 yards offensively in Ann Arbor, the same UM team that ran up and down the field against UF, which should've beaten LSU had it not been for 5 4th down convertions, OSU should win the game. Great stuff...Man, I hope somebody puts that in youtube.
Two weeks ago I was really confident that LSU was going to handle tOSU, for a variety of reasons... 1) We'll be close to 100% healthy and very well rested 2) We're loaded with quality seniors that always come to play, and are always well prepared 3) We're battle-tested, and then some - Thanks SEC 4) Too many offensive weapons- Hester, Doucet, Byrd, Williams, Holliday, Lafell, Murphy, Scott, Holliday, Dickson, Flynn and RP. 5) Our D should be much better now that we're healthy, maybe even dominant, but I'm not expecting that- hope for solid D. 6) We're playing in the Dome. This has to favor us, at least a little. However, watching many of the bowl games and reading about how tOSU is coming to NO with a chip on their shoulders, I am no longer as confident. 1) tOSU has heard about last year's title game for a year and are ready to prove it was a fluke. 2) For the last month they've been asked about how they plan to deal with LSU's speed, and that maybe they don't belong in this game.... making them even madder. 3) Did anyone think Michigan was going to beat Florida? I didn't. And I didn't give WV a chance without Rich Rodriguez. 4) Has LSU taken it easy since Dec 1st??? 5) Are we as motivated as tOSU??? This game is probably going to be a good one. tOSU is coming in extra fired up playing the "disrespected" role. Our Tigers better be ready for a fight. :crystal: :geaux: :crystal: :geaux: :crystal:
The senior leadership on this team is second to none. I don't think you have to worry about LSU half assing anything.
Irrelevant, you can go ahead and delete it,,,,I'll give you the other 4 points that you make but not that one.
I ditto an LSU win...but two things can happen: One we are blowing them out early, and continue a blow out....or two it is a close game we play tight all game long. BUT if we get a comfortable early lead, I think all the pieces come together and we get another Notre Dame type game that is tOSU out of reach of a win early. Since I stress out too much on these close games I am hoping for option one!
