Official BCS National Championship Game Thread!

Great turnaround! We have the ball to start the second half. How about a nice long drive -- eat up about 7-8 mins. off the clock with some smashmouth football, and have this thing put away at the start of the 4th.

No it wasn't. You only need so much time, and it was likely they werent even going to take a chance. If you leave too much time they had 3 TOs to get the ball back.

The Ohio State players look like they are already beat.

Come out and score and they will fold into playing desperate.

Fox keeps saying that LSU is doing this against the best defense in the nation.
Just like Fox said that Georgia was doing it against the best offense in the nation.

Will they ever say that it was against mostly cupcakes?

If the pubdits were right about penalties and turnovers are going to determine the winner, LSU is looking good. No penalties against the Tigers so far. Knock on wood.

I think we'll be all right next year at safety...Harry Coleman has done a great job substituing Steltz...He had that big hit on Boeckman and then put another big one on Beanie for just a 1 yard gain.

 

Thanks Gator. I was rooting big time for the Gators last year-that was a classic beatdown-let's hope this game finishes the same way.

 

You may be right, but we had the momentum and had them on there heels. If we would have called a time out with 1:30 left we could have made a couple of plays and went for a FG.
