Anybody notice how small some of BC's OL guys look, especially the freshman right tackle. He is linebacker size. Vtech has a horrid offense and BC's offense looks ridiculous. A team like LSU or OU would destroy them. THey are in no way a #2 caliber team.
Again, I reiterate, it shows you how great this LSU O was with Doucet in the lineup (as well as a healthy Flynn). Its really too bad he got hurt. I think we would be talking about spanking each and every one of our opponents this year (by no less than 10 points margin of victory). After Doucet got in the rhythm of things in the 2nd half of the Auburn game, we garnered nearly 300 yards and 23 points in the 2nd half alone against a very good defense that had their leader back from injury.
I couldn't agree more, that Doucet injury and Flynn sprain really hurt us more than most in the national press covered... btw glad you like my screen name Its bizarre but catchy.
Off topic but... There was no Lou Holtz pep talk was there? I just got in and I heard last week they ended it.
I know people like that zero in the loss column but it's going to be hard for some voters to rank BC ahead of LSU even if they manage to pull this one out.
LOL they went to the wrong hash. I've been to Lane before (and Tiger) its loud as hell in that place right now. Its not SEC level loud in my experience but I bet the place is rocking right now for this upcoming 3rd down.
They said they were having it at halftime but I was watching the World Series and missed it if it did indeed occur. Last I heard, they didn't know if they would be able to drain the water in the ESPN studios after the pep talk. They had civil engineers trying to solve the problem. Not sure what they came up with.
