We actually have room for 19 because of the transfers. I don’t think there are 12 great ones that we are in on, though. I hope for 3-4 great ones, plus a couple depth guys and a couple transfers. I don’t think we need to take guys we don’t want, just to fill spots, though. This could be our most Louisiana heavy class in a while, which I think is a good thing. Kids that want to be here and won’t get home sick.
There certainly are not 12 great ones still to be had out there. But if we get Law and Citizen, the Frazier kid out of FIU (I think all 3 of them are supposed to announce today), and can pull a couple more potential starters out of the portal, this shapes up to be an excellent class.
Thanks, and I forgot Jacoby Matthews in February, I think everyone would agree he's the top priority. I'd say Frazier is next, he's probably an instant starter at RT if we get him.
Jacoby is actually January 2nd at the All-American Bowl. I had a list a few pages back I'll post again. And yeah, those two are definitely high on the list. Frazier announces at 1:00 today, I think.
