    4-star dual threat QB Peter Parrish commits. From Phenix City, AL, right in Auburn's backyard. 247 ranks him the #11 dual threat in the country. #4 dual in ESPN rankings.

    nola.com says LSU's class now ranked #6 in the country by Rivals, #7 by 247.

    Very productive 5 days of recruiting for the Tigers, pulling in (re 247sports rankings) a 5-star and 2 4-stars, plus flipping a commit from a rival.

    One of the 4-stars - a cornerback - is a JC. The other is an unrated TE.

    When factoring out the kicker and long snapper, the average rating per player is 91.1, exactly what we've averaged the last half dozen years or so and about a half point better over the past dozen years.

    It's seems that Orgeron is inspiring recruits to come here to play for LSU. How much is him or LSU "mystique" ? I don't know, but he seems to be working his tail off. If he goes down in flames, it won't be for not giving it 100%.
