    I know...
Tennessee fans probably asked why they signed Kamara.

No, its a New Orleans native and former inner-city school coach they hired as an assistant. He's pulling in those NO area guys. But this isn't the first decommit from that group; my guess is they've seen what a train wreck that program is.

I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto.

Read the article about him on Nola.com where he says, "Good things happen when you do good things". He is talking to "big schools" as he says. He named LSU and Miss St.

He must have needed more cowbell. But that's fine; we lost a good player, but the big prize at WR is Marshall. We'll see come Friday.

No surprises today, either in who we got or who we didn't get. Not getting Cook was disappointing, but not a big surprise. One thing I'm curious about...Chasen Hines switched from OL to DL for his senior year, but he was ranked the number 1 guard in Texas as a junior. I know we need help on both sides of the line.....wondering if Hines could flip back to offense for the Tigers.

i read where Texas was close to flipping him because they offered him at DL so we gave him the opportunity to do the same and he reaffirmed his commitment to LSU... if it doesn't work out, he goes back to OL... i'll tell you this, after today, we have definitely gotten bigger on both lines... i like how we went for need instead of just star gazing... looks like we also got the top rated kicker too... now all we need is surtain, joseph and that big back from alabama to round out the class come February...

Early signing has us at #15 or so. However focus on OL &DL is fitting needs rather than flash. Also highest rated will likely wait till Feb to sign. We’ll see. I’d rather fill needs and complete at the LOS.
As with the rest of the Eaux experiment it will take 2-3 years to know whether it works. As noted earlier Dabo didn’t lite it up his first few years.
