I sure hope we pick up some 4-5 star quality players in the coming weeks. Even though JChase got injured, he's a stud and would be a great addition, along w/ HJoiner, and ACook. I know stars aren't everything, but highly ranked recruiting classes usually equate to on-field success and high team rankings. Not used to seeing LSU #17 at this stage, and 3* this, and 3* that. I'm pleased that CEO has seemed to have the team turn the corner after Troy, but if we don't recruit well, he won't survive long term. When is the early signing date, again? I know it's soon... DEC ___? Is there still a FEB signing date, too, or is it just earlier than it used to be?

Surtain and Joseph should be big for our defensive backfield. I would like to see us recruit more offensive and defensive lineman though. I know it's still early....
