If the saying about being your own worst enemy is true, and that enemy is defined as a rival, guess that would be true. I am sure it was a thread started by a bama fan on a bama board that was discussing having a houndstooth end zone pattern. Don't confuse bewilderment with reverence\awe.

All delusion aside, the kid can write well.

Too bad he's an icky Sabanfan. I mean, Saban fan.

I was thinking more like 5:07 to pay homage to the record they should be thankful to have in 2007.

Really the only valid point. There will always be delusional fans, but they seem to be in abundance in bama. To see this coming from a publication, where few (if any) of the daily readers ever actually saw the bear, but merely know of him through the legends of bama fans walking around in a perpetual dream state, is proof positive that bama just will not let it go. I think there is plenty in their past to be proud of, but every year the references to the glory of the bear becomes more pathetic and their denials of delusion become more hollow.

Considering the actual level of expectation for any coach, much less the current one, I think the gumps have set themselves up for disappointment for years to come. I think LSU fans are too tough, but we look like "yes" men in comparison!
