Rest play is not worded right, I can't really find good verbiage but what I am basically trying to say, is that IMHO and coming from guys who played the O-Line position, it does take more energy trying to push open holes play after play, than it does to drop back in pass block play after play. My concern is VALID, and the proof is in the pudding if you go back and re-watch the game. Going into the State game, LSU scored 11 touchdowns on their 12 trips in the Red Zone. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=29.800802,-95.578910
We played 71 players so far this year, 9 walkons, thats a bunch. A W/O OL and a W/O DL this year. As for the OL, many SEC schools would like to have our backups, Williford, Shaw, T-Bob (I know, but talking about before Josh D got hurt), Collins, Matt Branch, Davenport and Domingue have all played this year. The last game, we have Faulk go down, and Shaw moves in. Williford was inserted for Blackwell and did well also. Not many teams can have a loss of what we've had over the first three games and move up in the polls. There is a ton of depth on this team, on the D side is unreal. To have Nevis, Sheppard and PP7 leave and we just keep on.:tigereye:
Good points. It all depends on the build of the athlete. Big, heavy, ponderous? Pass Blocker. More muscle mass, less body fat? More athletic and should be able to drive all game. Generalization? No, not really but there are exceptions.
