One day you might understand offensive football, good luck with that don't see much hope for ya. Spend a few days reviewing film and evaluating the skill sets of your players and the skills sets and defensive philosophies of your opponents. You will quickly realize what looks simple to do from a stadium or couch view is not so simple afterall. E is very very good at what he is doing based on what he has to work with. LSU has surprised everyone here and in the sports media. You dont get where we are now with poor head coaching, poor defensive coaching and poor offensive coaching.
Vs MSU in the first 28 minutes. E averaged 0.5 yards per minute......... \Maybe he took a nap during that time or something, because he clearly ran right at the strength of MSU for the first half of the game. We might not have the time to waste vs Bama...
Ok @Kikicaca we are going to put it all out there. Hypothetically of course. The phone rings on O's desk in ten minutes and its Riley. He says hey coach I'm fed up with it here I'd love to come and be your OC. Should O take him?
Neaux. What would he bring to the table? OU's record is the same as ours and he plays a much more weaker schedule. We are already winning and ranked ahead of OU. And as I told you E set records as our interim coach and is working with a talented but inexperienced QB, a banged up line, less talented rb's than we are used of and all new starters at wr. If E left hell yeah!
You can never accuse anyone of being football stupid ever again. I didn't even read anything else of your post because it's not relevant
so on the one hand we have enough talented players to be ranked #3 but they don't possess enough talent to complete a screen pass or a pass to a rb in the flat.... got it thanks for the clarification
