As usual, the Saints are cash strapped going into free agency. Only the Bucs are closer to the cap limit. We resigned Chris Banjo over the weekend and Craig Robertson today, both good moves IMO.

When the hell will we ever get out of "salary cap hell"? Haven't we been here for a freaking decade now?

What worries me - and I know this is what's going to happen - is that Ingram signs with Carolina to pair with Mac the way he did with AK here. The guys we let go always find a way to come back and bite us in the ass.

Update: nola.com says the Ravens appear to be the frontrunner for Ingram.

Ian Rappaport says we will get a visit from Ziggy Ansah. Don't see why we would go after a DE who was franchise tagged and then injured last year, even if they're worried about losing Okafor. We invested heavily in defensive end last year, and the starters are set. We don't need to invest starter money in that position.

Will Lutz signs. Mike Detillier points out that at this point in his career, Lutz has a better percentage of made FGs than did Morton Andersen.
