Of the five best players on the field, how many will be ours?

I say at least three, and maybe four. I'm talking Devin White, Derrius Guice, and Donte Jackson, for sure, and then Arden Key if he's back to normal conditioning by game time.

Our problem is depth and the interior lines.

I will go with Devin White as the only certainty. The Guice of last week is best in nation, but I can't believe we will have more than 2 of the best 5.

Their 3 running backs as a whole are better than our 2 but I'd rather our 2 because they are Tigers. That Anderson kid for Alabama is about as disruptive a linebacker as I have seen all year save Devin White.

Top 5 Players in this game
    White
    Fitzpatrick
    Guice
    Anderson
    Buggs/Key at 100 percent

Oh, and if we run Guice up the middle every play, well, he will drop out of top five.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens. Fitzpatrick is their coach on the field, and you can bet that they will have the jet sweep on their radar. I think you still run motion and the jet sweep because to me it looks like Canada has almost created some sort of variation of the zone read but he is reading the safety. If the safety extends towards past the hash you run inside, if the safety stays inside you hand off to the receiver in motion. I'm very interested to see if Saban's defense is as disciplined as they are hyped. You run the jet sweep to open the middle. You can't just load the box when the threat of the outside is there. The key though is pass protection. Because the play action, quick, short throws should be there if Danny isn't running for his life.

    Guice > Scarborough
A healthy Guice behind Bama's O-line = Heisman trophy hands down

I think it's more about the other 6 and then the next 11 bama can put on the field. they're just deeper than us.
