    First off the polls don't rank teams according to who would beat who if they lined up and played. If they did that then of course Florida would be ranked #2. The polls are based on teams current records and popularity among the voters and have very little relationship to the actual strength of a team. any idiot knows that there are not 12 teams out there that would be favored against Florida. Any fluke thing can happen on any given saturday, but there are not 12 better teams.

    Here is something I don't understand. Michigan loses to the Div II national champion and falls completely out of the top 25. USC loses to a 40 point underdog...the biggest point spread loss in major college history and they fall to 7th and 10th. I have yet to figure that out. :dis:
