With this reasoning...Barner should be ranked ahead of UF since they both have 2 losses and Barner beat UF at their crib. Im actually surprised they didnt fall more with 2 losses. Look how much higher they are than others with 2 losses.

No doubt. USF struggled against Florida Atlantic this week. Granted, they have beaten both Auburn and West Virginia this year, but I still can't believe they are one of the 5 best teams in college football.

Not that it matters, but it would be interesting to hear their justification for voting Ohio State over LSU...the Buckeyes haven't played anybody:

    Games Played/Current Ranking - OSU

    Youngstown State - unranked
    Akron - unranked
    Washington - unranked
    Northwestern - unranked
    Minnesota - unranked
    Purdue - unranked

We've beaten the current #7, #12, and #13. Next week we play #17 on the road. The Buckeyes? Kent State!

There are no style points anymore. We seem to forget the struggles with Tulane. Bottom line is the win.

    No...and they were undefeated.

Not that I think OSU should be ranked ahead, far from so. No doubt OSU will lose at least one game this season.

    Just...get your facts straight. :p

Absolutely no respect for unbeaten Kansas in the poll; granted, a few cupcakes, but that KSU game was a quality win.

    How about Cincinnati?

Last year wasn't a fluke, indeed.

Thanks for the "State of Reality for Ohio State" post. I was not aware of how weak their schedule has been. I don't think they want to play an SEC team again. If Ohio State loses 2 games, would they dare except a Bowl rematch with Florida?

Cincinnati is quite impressive. Kansas, though a surprise, will probably end #2 in the Big XII North next to Missouri...who is amazing.....and assuming Mizzou doesn't crap out in its last 3 or so games.

The whole point of the post was to show strength of schedule based on CURRENT RANKINGS. I'll try drawing a picture next time :)

Eh, even if you do that, despite the fact that everyone uses rankings at time of play, Purdue is still ranked in the Coaches poll.
