No I would expect him to do as such but you know just as well as I do the only reason Saban is saying these things is because he doesn't want him at LSU.
No but it could make his job a little harder. For years we've been saying LSU would be almost unbeatable with any kind of offense. How much better are LSUs chances of beating bama with Kiffen running the offense instead of Miles/Cameron? I'm thinking the odds would be greatly improved, although I could be wrong.
#1 Bama has the players to run Nick's offense. #2 Kiffin doesn't walk on water. I don't think Nick would have any difficulty hiring a replacement just as good to run Bama's offense. #3 We are in the catch up mode trying to compete with Bama. I'm not sure how much of a difference Kiffin would make in the short term.
Are you kidding me? Not sure how much difference Kiffen could make in a short time? From no QB development to very good QB development. From horrible offensive philosophy to an improved one. From horrible play calling to qualty play calling. From refusing to involve the wealth of talented athletes in the offense to wanting ro use them and knowing how to use them. You're talking night and day improvement. No Kiffen doesn't walk on water, im not even sure he's the best choice, but holy toledo he would be an epic step up from Miles/Cam. You could take any of 100 Texas high school OCs and it would be a huge step up from the last staff.
A world of difference. If he is able to put up 14 we win a few of the last 6. Not much more than that and we win them all. It's the only missing link.
