Sarkeesian's issues are much more recent and more drastic.

I've heard many industry leaders state that they surround themselves with people who are smarter than they are. It is a sign of maturity.

I'm not questioning your sources. I'm questioning theirs. If Sark's lips were moving, he was lying. Is he or is he not making the equivalent of $35k/year? He's got a Cali mortgage, an ex-wife who he cheated on, and 3 kids to support. And now that he's decided to sue USC for HIS problems and failures, he's got an expensive legal firm to retain.

Predicting future behavior is most accurate based on the most recent past behavior. Orgeron has shown an ability to take responsibility, be honest, and make changes. In several years, the biggest issue he's had is the temper tantrum he threw when he left USC.

Sardrunkian.....lied to get the HC job at USC. Lied to the AD, the administration, the players, the other coaches, his family, the fans. Got drunk and embarrassed himself, the football program and the University on the most important night of the year for kicking off the season and in front of big money donors. Failed to show up for work. Was given chances he didn't deserve. Denied an intentional misuse of drugs and alcohol despite his obvious impairment at a post-practice presser. Wouldn't admit he had a problem even though it was obvious he did. Was given an opportunity at counseling and medical attention which he refused. Disappeared and claimed to be in rehab....a ploy to avoid being terminated. And yes, it was a ploy because he continued on social media which isn't allowed in rehab. He got terminated anyway and rightly so. And now of course he's suing USC because we didn't help him enough.

Sorry, but he's a lying, pathetic, arrogant self-absorbed asshole. If he's trying to improve his life, good for him but he should be doing it for his kids first and not his career.

    1 year ago.....

Yeah, not buying it. I'm actually laughing as I watch this again....he's totally blown and he's in front of the press denying that he has a problem.

I don't know how his compensation is set up. It's never crossed my mind to look it up. He's listed as a consultant as I recall. I don't believe there are restrictions on pay in that position but again, never looked it up.

As to your other comments...I've read what Hayden has said and I've got questions about what he's said and done...sorta like you do about what I've said.

If Kiffin leaves I've no issues with the offense being "handed over" to him.

If Kiffin heads to BR I've got suspicions O can't/won't keep him in check like he's been the last three years.

I dont think anyone is saying that. What they're saying is lets see what O can do putting together a staff and building a team in the off season. With Aranda, a good OC, improved special teams and continued good recuiting wouldn't you expect him to be successful? Miles didn't run the defense and he didn't know diddly about offense but was successful until he refused to evolve. O sees the need for and is willing to make the moves to evolve LSUs offense. With the right coaching staff around him I think O can win the SEC. If you can do that, you can compete for championships. O has a lot to prove, but so would any other candidates. They all had different question marks on their resume. Was it a thrilling sexy hire......no. But was it a bad hire.......i don't think so. O has definitely said all rhe right things. I'm very interested in seeing what he can do. I don't understand the gloom and doom vibe from some just because Alleva is incompetent. That has zero effect on whether or not O can lead this program in the right direction .

I still think Alleva needs to go.

I am on the wait and see train with Coach O. I would love to see him be successful, but cant help but feel like he is just a stop gap. I do agree, that a HC, OC and DC all 3 have separate jobs. Its tough to say that Coach O as the HC can sit back and make this all work, but Dabo Swinney doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed by any stretch and he is making it happen quite well actually.

What are the odds that if Coach O doesn't work out, Dave Arranda is our HC in waiting?
