its already in the works for the 2012 election. its going to be cast in a reality show called Americans Idle. Candidates will have to perform on stage so americans can finally learn about who they are voting for without having to do any legwork.

first 10,000 voters get a free big mac.

I agree, however the problem is that everyone is all jazzed up right now because the country is in the crapper. When (if) it gets fixed I'm afraid people will go back to not giving a damn and it will all get out of hand again. I'm working for a candidate right now and there is a run off vote next tuesday. Most people don't even know it. It is really sad. You would think more people cared.

Don't be so quick to make fun of this stuff. The slimy ass liberals would do this in a nanosecond if they thought they could get away with it. I'm surprised the one that likens himself to the base of a popular cajun dish hasn't started working on it already.:nope:

Big Macs always sound like a good idea to me. But they never are.

nothing will convince you more of the stupidity of the american people than hitting the campaign trail.

after the "i dont vote because i dont want to be held responsible comment" is the overwhelming number of people who give you a blank stare along with "there's an election?"

The only way you can waste a vote is by not using it.

ok, so my two favorites are bloom county (reruns) and doonesbury. both are often political and go after either side. i saw this one today and made me think "it's deja vu all over again"......

I disagree. See our upcoming Senate election. Who is the viable candidate? I wish we could just go in and vote present.

I'll waste my vote on an independent I know nothing about before helping to put one of the clowns the fear herds push out into office.

Voting is not a waste. Enough people join you in your vote, you change the election. Do it enough times and eventually you attract a different type of candidate.

Not voting is inertia. It's a simple concept. Even a movie as socially important as Brewster's Millions understood this principle.
