Thanks, Michael Moore. The largest insurer in the State of Louisiana is a non-profit corporation. Blanket statements don't get you anything but hot and sweaty.
I slipped on a patch of ice in the back of the truck carrying 100lbs of frozen pizzas Yeah that is something that can come up but its not on the table yet and the medical would just be for the knee.
Cant her back is that bad she has to take oxicotin and percecate just to make it through the day before they baby they had her on cymbalta and lyrica...because the doctors want to wait to see what medical sicene develpos down the road. The doctors want her to apply for disability which she did which of course she was denied becuase of her age.
There needs to be a "Safe Auto" of medical insurance company out there to create competion with the big guys and force them to bring down their prices to compete. I dont want free I want something I can afford.
Well the problem and I've said this before is that most people see Health Insurance as a Pre-Paid Services plan which it isn't. But if you want coverage like that you are going to have to pay for it. I'd suggest just negotiating with the providers directly.
If you're going to be a professional smartass, you should learn to pick your spots. Crip has a legitmate problem through no fault of his own. Freakin amateurs.:dis:
Crip does your wife go to a pain management clinic? That sucks man, i feel for you because most employers will run for the hills if they see workmans comp.
sorry. wasnt being a smartass. i would move to another country if i was still young, needed ongoing expensive medical treatments and could not get coverage here. pain is a beeyoch. i would trade pain-free living for college football anyday. anyway, i support the US doing whatever it takes to cover all americans. stopping the $20 billion or so agricultural subsidies per year would be a good start (as martin brought up).
Yes she does. They just tried a nerve burn on her right side and it did not relieve any of the pain. If I have to go back to work I will, because I would rather work in pain then have her be in pain because we cant afford the meds. And SF I didnt take gumbos "leave the country" statement as being a smartass.
my wife has Sciatica, which is basically a bone or muscle is laying on her sciatic nerve causing pain to shoot from her hip down to her foot, she has walked on the outside of her foot for so long that it will not even turn in anymore. We cannot afford the pain management clinic prices, which is basically a legal drug house, but the meds do work. I feel for you both, i hope everything works out, and hopefully we can get some sort of healthcare system for people like you, and people like us who have no healthcare because our employers do not offer it, and buying a policy is more expensive that most of our bills.
