I just posted objective numbers that say he was the best quarterback at the combines and a legitimate quarterback prospect.

    A bald lie.

When he finished college TWO years ago, Tebow held 5 NCAA, 14 Southeastern Conference, and 28 Florida statistical records. He was the SEC's all-time leader in career passing efficiency (170.8), completion percentage (67.1%), passing touchdown to interception ratio (5.5 to 1), rushing yards by a quarterback (2947), rushing touchdowns (any position) (57), and total touchdowns responsible for (145).

Did his good looks and Christian fame do that for him?

    What a lame argument.

Try to understand. Being voted the best by experts does not mean he cannot actually be the best. In most cases, it is a clear indicator of who is the best.

You have offered no logic at all and certainly have offered no numbers to back yourself up. You denigrate "opinion" and to do so, you cite the opinions of NFL analysts! The same people who drafted him in the first round.

No, this is more of your unusual personal philolsophy and your anti-Christian bias.

my point is that you are exactly wrong. you ever notice how many gold gloves jeter has? have you ever watched jeter play shortstop? yunno who votes on gold gloves? "experts".

have you ever seen the college football polls? yunno who votes in those? experts.

again, subjective analysis beats voting every time.

You said any quarterback in the last 10 years. You imagine that Tebows excellent college record did not play into his high NFL draft or any of his football accomplishments. Only his non-football fame. You are the Kardashian here.

Let me point out that there is no objective analysis at all in this diatribe.

no numbers? i just showed his competion percentage to be historically bad! did you see his numbers at all? in one game last year he completed 2 total passes in the whole game! in the final regular season when he was desperate to make the playoffs who threw xero TD and one interception to lose 6-3!. in the previous game he threw 3 interceptions for a passer rating of 37!

you do rrealize the guys who drafted him were fired and tebow traded and nobody wanted him to start. not one team wanted him to start.

maybe the stat sheets are ant christian.

i dont imagine that. i am correct. the guys who drafted him were fired and he has been a total bust, just like the objective analysts said.

You most certainly compare apples (QBs) to apples (QBs). Athletic skill (Oranges) like Vick, does not translate to good QBs, wins, or record books for the NFL..

I am sure Tebow could run circles around Drew Brees, but who would you pick for your QB on your team......

Who said he couldn't play QB? You threw out names like Manning and such, NO, HE WILL NEVER BE AT THAT LEVEL.

Will he be a serviceable QB, yea, but if a team hopes to make a run like the Colts, Saints, Pats, etc... Tebow will not be behind center... His mechanics, while improved, are vastly behind where they should be for a franchise QB.. This isn't college anymore....

People who have made a living at this say this every day, take off the glasses, you are wrong on this one Red...

    correct.

what i think is more interesting is when the experts still resists objective analysis. like when they vote for jeter or even david wright for golden glove awards. they definitely do not understand the fundamental defensive nature of the award.

thats why the book "moneybal was so good. it about exploiting the market. expoliting the difference between perception and reality. looking at what actually gives value for investment and what doesnt. in the book the primary undervalued thing was OBP. and it objectively true that obp is far more closely tied to run production than batting average. and batting average persists as a stat that people use over OBP. and pitcher wins as well.

yesterday i bet my pal that danica patrick would not finish n the top 20 at darlington. i exploited the market. danica is not talented at the ame level she is famous.

of course the example of this that i am most obsessed with is definitely jeff francoeur, the wort rgular right fielder in history (this year he is batting 5th in the lineup at KC with an OBP of 267. that is singlehandedly ruining the team. giving a player of that caliber that many imprtant at bats is suicide. and yet they do it and have been for years). when he isnt piling up outs he is collecting news story after news story about how is bound to improve because he is a great guy. (this is what they say about tebow as well). funny they never said that about ryan leaf when he was terrible.
