My opinions of people on forums where I do not personally know them are based entirely on what they say and how they say it.

You say Obama blames Bush for his own failures. When did he say this? What exactly did he say?

During the 2008 campaign candidate Obama criticized Bush a lot, but all for Bush's own actions. Now, you show me where President Obama has blamed Bush for Obama's own actions. Where? When?

I remember a prediction from before Obama was elected. Unfortunately I can't remember where I read it. However, it went something like this:

"I predict that a president will be elected, and at some point in the first year after they take office, unemployment will fall and jobs will be created and they will claim it's because of the policies they put in place"

Truer words never spoken. Our economy finds ways to fix itself regardless of what congress and the rest of the govt. does to mess it up.

the "bring people together" is a pointless thing politicans say to stupid people. its vague and means nothing. bush said he was a uniter not a divider. so what? its policy that matters, not some nebulous togetherness or whatever.

also president dont really control the economy.

also earlier red mentioned that one of the things obama does is win respect from the world. this is insanely stupid. basically every country on earth is a terrible shithole that has no fucking clue what it is doing, or how to choose a political system or a leader. basically every world leader is a shithead. even relatively smart white countries like italy and russia choose fucking lunatics like putin and berlesconi to lead them. basically there are like 5 countries that are not complete clusterfucks. germany, japan, the US, britain, a couple scandinavian cpountries and that is about it. so when you have the respect of the world, you have the respect of idiots because 99% of people have such a poor understanding of politics and government and human nature that they favor everything stupid and nothing good. they oppose freedom and want to be ruled by idiots. they average world citizen is a backward religious coward. so we shouldnt care what anyone thinks.

also it should be noted tht by international standards, obama is a tremendously good leader. because americans are part of a far smarter political culture (meaning protective of personal freedom) than almost any other country. and george bush is a supreme outlier. so is winston churchill. men of that quaity are exceedingly rare these days. if thomas jeffeson were alive today he would be almost magically great and would be marginalized for being way too awesome.

i am having trouble typing because of an extrme sneezing fit

"The stumbling recovery has also proven to be the worst since the economic disaster of the 1930s. Across a wide range of measures—employment growth, unemployment levels, bank lending, economic output, income growth, home prices and household expectations for financial well-being—the economy's improvement since the recession's end in June 2009 has been the worst, or one of the worst, since the government started tracking these trends after World War II."

    Does that even matter?

Take the country by the balls and do what needs to be done. However popular or unpopular that might be.

correct. being well-liked is the goal of politicians, and this is the inherent flaw in democracy. ther perfect system is a dictator that does the right things even when the people oppose it. this is impossible of course and should not be tried. the problem is that people are too unsophisticated to really ever favor what is best for them.
