Read any book on command, you have not a clue. It is not as simple as you make it out to be. Yea, there are certain rules within the military life style that do not apply to civilians, however a commander is judge by his troops performance. You don't just say do this or face court marshal. It is not how it works on any level of the military. Command at any level translates. Did I ever say that Obama should say HE CAUSED THIS MESS? Nope, failure to read on your part. Part of command again, in which you do not understand, is that Obama is the LEADER of this country. Our nations problems are now his problems.. Its not about standing up and saying, "Hey guys, I caused this shit". It is about him standing up as a LEADER and taking this challenge, no matter the cause, and putting us on the right path. Put politics aside and fix the root if the issues. What does Obama do? Pass blame. True leaders do not operate like this. Bush is gone. It is about what our new leader is doing to correct it. I do have money, my 401k is down 10% this year alone. Got any facts for that statement? What is there to fear from Obama? A troop withdrawal? Yea, scary. Fuck customs, we are the custom. Those with the biggest sticks create the peace and set the tone for the rest of the world. They for one didn't pass a bill they didn't read. What facts have I made up?
Obama would get so much credit if from day one, he went to work instead of trying to ensure the American people knew he didn't cause the economic crash. His entire presidency is filled with blame this and blame that. Just shut the fuck up and go to work.

I don't need to read a book, I've been there and done that and I can tell you right now that motivating a squadron of like minded individuals to work together toward a common goal is much simpler than leading a nation that is politically divided right down the middle, working to enact legislation to get the economy moving again with a House of Representatives who refuse to be constructive regardless of the consequences to the nation, and dealing with individuals and terrorists cells daily who want to kill us at all costs. Just a hair different my friend. I realize that you Republicans like to oversimplify things but this isn't an instance where your over simplification applies well. Obama has never passed the blame where it wasn't due. I realize that it stings you badly that your party was the one who was fiscally irresponsible by passing Medicare part D and extending tax cuts during a war but the facts are the facts. Obama doesn't have to pass the blame because we are all still feeling the effects! If you really believe that we shouldn't act as a reasonable player on the international scene because we "carry the biggest stick" is about as ignorant and foolish as you can get. I usually refrain from calling names but sometimes it is the truth and in your case, the term certainly applies. This is the same foreign policy used by the Bush administration and you see where it got us. You still haven't told me what the Republicans have done FOR health care. I don't mean voting against it because we all know they have done that. Your party had eight years to address the issue and refused to do so. When they start doing something constructive let us know.

Brett is a nice guy and says it's ok to curse here. However, when someone curses in practically every single post they make, does it really add anything (emphasis, shock, etc) to what they are saying?
I think if used for emphasis on occasion, it is useful. However, when its' use is near constant, it gives people an opportunity to think less of you than you rightfully deserve.
Its a forum... Think what you will of me.. Forums are a great place to vent, rant, and say things you otherwise wouldn't in public in a variety of fashions. SO you think less of people based on the words they use, rather not on the content of what they post? Says a lot.
