What did you think that they measured at the NFL combine? Athletic skills, that is what! For quarterbacks, linemen, receivers . . . all positions require a certain amount of athletic skill. Everybody understands this. YOU were the one that brought up the combine as evidence that Tebow was not a good quarterback. "He is a very good athlete, but not top. I didn't see him atop anything if at all on the NFL combine...." -- 123 Well, he was atop 3 of the 5 combine categories for quarterbacks and placed #2 and #4 in the others to rate as the top athlete at quarterback. If you want to say he was not as fast as the best running back or not as strong as the best linebacker, or not as good a jumper as the best wideout, that is fine. But we were talking about quarterbacks and he was the best among them at the combine.
Again my point is that a smart man should understand which objective stats matter in what situations. For quarterback, it isn't foot speed or jumping. It is completion percentage. For president it isn't charm and handsomeness.
what a thread, we have ranged from Obama to Tebow, 2 individuals who have been a bust at the professional level.
and both have a been a bust for the same reason. both were allowed a professional position based almost completely on personality.
