best case scenario for OsamaObama after MD, VA and DC the delegates are tied. i fear that hillary will take osamaobama down a peg or two in the upcoming debates---that and the superdelagates win it for her. whoever gets the dem nomination rolls mccain by >15%
Go Obama. People can say anything they want, thats how Republicans win. They can put out things about him being a muslim and they can trash Hillary all they want. But folks are tired of the supposedly right. All of the lies and scandals (gay scandals), its just hypocrisy. And all the Osama crap, thats just hidden racism at its finest.
as a registered independent i tend to be economically conservative and morally liberal (for the most part, i'm all for death penalty and against aff. action) but what i can't believe is that there has never ever been a time when an election has been more girftwrapped for a party then now with the democrats (with W ending his 8 year romp) and who are they going to nominate: a woman that no one seems to like or a black guy with a muslim sounding name. i'm not hating on clinton or obama b/c both have their good and bad points but c'mon seriously, is joe blow from indiana who's undecided gonna vote for hillary or obama???? why do democrats make it so tough on themselves??? then republicans are doing the smart thing and pushing the moderate (mccain) which will grab all those fringe votes (maybe). it's going to be an interesting race and i look forward to see who gets the noms and who the running mates will be.
Clinton will get the nomination folks. She may not win the delegates but she'll get the nomination. This is the Clinton's we are talking about here. They are the big Democrat fundraisers........and they are spiteful. She'll get her one shot at it....the DEM's owe her that and they know it. Counting delegates is a lost cause.
Yeah, you don't see Obama floating his campaign $5 million loans from his own bank account. He's on pace for another $30 million or more for the month of February.
The thing I'll never get is how, in 2000 and 2004, the Republicans put up a guy who obviously never paid attention during a day of school in his life, and on top of that, probably had mild down syndrome. How was it possible for the Democrats to put up a candidate equally as sad? Well, in 2000, they put up Al "I created the internet" Gore -- who seemed more likely to be a genuine cyborg robot instead of an actual human being. Remember that awkward attempt at a kiss that his advisers had him try with his wife on national TV? Then in 2004, they put up John "Flip Flop" Kerry -- who looked like something right out of a goofy horror show (like Frankenstein or Lurch). Would you let him kiss your baby?
