Too close to call in Texas.

Looks like a 50-49 split at the end of the day.

Obama will take that, even in a loss.

Clinton running away in Ohio, surpisingly.

Does this down to the wire slugfest between Obama and Clinton bode well for McCain??

Seems it would, without a challenger for the republican nomination now, he won't be gettting worked over by someone from his own party.

I am in no way, shape or form a political expert, but I have to think if these trends are correct, Obama will win Texas..

    http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/county/#TXDEMMAPprimary

All Hillary's counties or nearly all of them have 100% reported.

Most of Obama's counties have just 25-45% reporting. Houston, a huge black strangle-hold has a real small amount.

Expect him to rally and win.

    That's just my math.

Looks like Clinton will hold on just barely, probably 50-49.

watts was caught on tape taking "walking around money" (his words) when he was on the oklahoma corporation commission. the bribe was from a lobbyist for the a large utility company. the corporation commission regulates the utilities.

the case was sent to the u.s. attorney office where the case was allowed by languish by then u.s. attorney vicki miles-lagrange, who just happened to be a friend of watts. the justice department pulled the case from her jurisdiction out of protest days before the statute of limitations expired on it.

i honestly believe that the only reason watts didnt go to federal trial was because of either favoritism or incompetance by the u.s. attorney in the western district of oklahoma. even though the entire issue will always be debatable on why watts did not face federal bribery charges, there will always be that fbi surveillance tape. i doubt watts would that brought back to life by the national media.

there have been bankruptcies, failure to pay child support, and other things that in watts back ground. the man is far from squeaky clean and he would be shredded in any run for higher office outside oklahoma.

It doesnt really matter, do the math, she cant win unless she just wipes him out and the indication by the races last night, she wont do that.

So lets say she wins Pennslyvania, Kentucky, and another state.

Obama wins Oregon, Mississippi, Wyoming and in some other races.

She just cant catch up, unless she tries to hijack the election and try to seat Florida and Michigan, which wasnt a full vote.

Her negative campaign has really just turned me off. If she does squeak a win out, I will vote for either McCain or Nader. I will register as an independent and leave the democratic party.
