thank you for telling me what I should or shouldnt be in, I appreciate that. Also, if you are going to just dimiss my points then I dont need to be in the conversation at all, the cop out is you being dismissive and not open minded, which you obiviously cant be. Which is fine with me.:thumb:

Obama has the young voters of this country really energized. If they come out in force in November, he will be our next President. We will have a record percentage of registered black voters come out in November, there is no questioning that. Add the fact that he appeals to the Independent voters about as much as McCain does, then Obama will win in November, and comfortably (53-47 split would be my guess).

No problem, you brought it up.

You're happy as long as you are agreed with, apparently. If someone disagrees and tries to debate an issue, then they are being dismissive of you, so you must try to paint them as "not open minded".

You pointed out a bunch of McCain's faults, but when I point out the weak spots in Obama's credentials, then I'm being dismissive of you personally. I think you're being too ... damn ... sensitive.

I love the cherry picking, I guess you didnt see in one of my post, when I said I agree with alot of what McCain has done and accomplished.

I could care less if you agree or disagree with me, that doesnt make me happy. I enjoy different viewpoints, but once again cherry picking. Those are weak spots in your point of view, but if you dont think securing nuclear stockpile is important, then like I said before, we have nothing to debate.

seems like you are the one who is sensitive, especially when you are challenged. Also, I come here everyday with the same viewpoint, which most of the people here dont agree with, so it definitely doesnt bother me if someone doesnt agree with me. If you dont believe me, check out the thread back and forth between Shane and myself, oh you already did.

Y'know, I personally don't have a problem with a black man as Pres, but Obama's got too much stuff hanging on him and too many unanswered questions. Tell ya a black man I would vote for in a heartbeat, "JC Watts", he's awesome, and for the life of me I have no idea at all why he hasn't run yet.

I didn't say it wasn't important, please don't put words into my mouth. I said that the whole of his accomplishments are light for a Presidential candidate. Not unworthy, not petty, just not a lot of it. I think Hillary is light, too, just not as light.

I enjoy being challenged, amigo, why do you think I respond with answers and more questions? What I don't do is decline to respond to a challenge, get personally offended by it, and suggest that it is unworthy of further discussion.

This bill is the reason I will not vote for Obama. This is a scary bill that will hurt our economy with rediculous taxes.

Yup..same here, but at some point I begin to feel like its a "lesser of evils"...NOT saying any of them are evil, but there's not a one that I jump up and down and say "Oh YEAh...thats who I want!" or "don't want"...with the exception of my already stated oh-so fond opinion of Mrs. Clinton...Obama is a very charasmatic speaker with great "ideas"....I just wonder how many of those "ideas" will ever turn into reality? And McCain...I appreciate the fact he went to war for our country, was a soilder, and I feel awful for the time he spent as a POW... he deserves all the glory and respect for that...but it does not automatically make him and expert on current national security. Some of his local policy's are a bit questionable, in my opinion. I wish Colin Powell would have run last time ..

It is also interesting that I had also mentioned Colin Powell in another post today when it was pointed out race could be a factor if Obama gets to be the nominee. It is a strange election year. It would almost boil down to voting for the lesser of the evils for a lot of voters.
