That painting is bizarre. Like he is levitating in front of an ivy covered wall. Plus, his face is old, and ugly. Michelle’s portrait is even worse. She looks really pissed off —- like someone put edible food back in school cafeterias. Just goes to show when you place artificial constraints on the talent pool, you will not get the best output.

Arguably, George Bush is a better painter than the Obama's choices. How cool would it have been if he would have painted their official portraits?
