And I correctly predicted you would.

Very damaging book, I'm sure. Nice timing on his part - he'll make millions. It's how the game is played, ala Dick Morris from Bubba's administration. I think even Georgie S+69 wrote a book...

It just dawned on me, why Im I even responding to you, being the genius you are. Seeing how you know everything and all of your opinions are right and itched in blood.

Iraq will always rely on the US and will be somewhat neutral towards the US for as long as we fund them. When we start spending the money on some other nation, or heaven forbid, on ourselves, the stability of Iraq will weaken and more than likely we will not be on their Christmas card list.

In the meantime, we will have a volunteer army that is stretched too thin and overworked. We will be spending gobs of your tax dollars and mine overseas while the US struggles economically.

I don't believe we should have gotten into Iraq in the first place, so I see US casualties as the unnecessary result of our poorly led government.

According to everything I heard, Obama opposed Iraq, which I believe shows more foresight than what Clinton or McCain bring to the argument. McCain's racism also turns me off, and I believe he is little better than the stereotypical politician.

I wasn't aware that the Iraq war was cheap, and I don't see how it has bolstered our national defense. I'd love to see a peaceful world, but I don't think war is absolutely wrong. In the case of Iraq, I do think it was wrong.

    We'll see, won't we.

edit... Overlooking the negatives and highlighting the positives seems to have played a large role in how we got to where we are, yet the hardcore "Republicans" continue to do this. Do you ever question your party and what it has become?

    I'm a registered republican, btw.

Enlighten me. Darfur is suffering genocide, Zimbabwe is becoming another Uganda, and Somalia is now a pirate state.

Bush established the largest Marine Wildlife Sanctuary in the world, which is a significant achievement. And....that's about it.

Because the pro-Iraq FSA regulars have all but given up.

And the economy is everyones main concern. Gas and food prices are killing us, insurance and mortgages are costlier, health costs are skyrocketing, so people are cutting back. Our economy is 2/3 driven by consumer spending and no one thinks we are going to be spending our way our of the recession we're sliding into.
