Watch and learn. We'll be out of Iraq by December and we're rapidly downsizing in Afghanistan, even as we ratchet up missile strikes and targeted Special Ops assassinations of Al Qaeda leaders. It's called getting the job done.
And unemployment will be under 8%, Guantanamo will be shut down and poor people won't have to make mortgage and car payments. :dis:
Highest unemployment and poverty rates in decades. Those are the facts that most directly impact the American people. Spin it any way you want, very few US citizens are old enough to have lived during worse economic times. I know, I know it's all Bush's fault. However Obama has done nothing to stop the bleeding. The current administration has been a complete failure in every way possible.
Since LBJ instituted the war on poverty $12 Trillion has been spent and the povery rate has deopped 3% from 18% to 15%. "So you're sayin there's a chance. YES!!"
Not true in the least. Obama has succeeded in foreign policy, finishing Bush's wars, killing bin Ladin, pulling us out of Bush's recession, changing DGP from negative to positive, creating 1 million jobs with the stimulus, changing employment from job losses to jobs gained, and providing heath care for all Americans.
none of that is true except the bin laden and foreign policy part. he hasnt even ended the wars, which is actually a good thing.
