lol it was constitutional and a bi-partisan cluster fk. thats your defense. Who suggested it happen at all. Your favorite buddy, which is beside the point. I still cant figure out why you failed to mention it. AIG has nothing to do with my response. Im sure you are sleeping well at night.

I havent seen one GOP proposal thats based on bi-partisanship. Its more of the old tax cut and rebate, that does not work.
Im not interested in defending anyone, just debating and refuting you being disingenous. And I felt like you need a break from fighting with LaSalle, how did i do?

well, i can see if you were black, and you believed you had no chance to be president, and now it appears as though it is at least possible your kid could be prez if you marry a white lady.

at any rate, i dont understand the controversy. these parents dont like obama, good for them.

I missed your point. I defend Bush on matters of National Security. I have never defended his going all Democrat on us last year. Obama could have nipped that crap in the bud and he chose to build on it. He doesn't get a pass just because Bush started it.

It takes two to tango and to be bi-partisan. GOP has their ideas and Dems have theirs, but the Republic of Pelosi wants no part of incorporating the best parts of both party's ideas into a plan that would benefit Americans. It's all about getting elected and staying elected and keeping power. I'm a conservative and I won't follow lock step into an increasingly socialized system.

Great. You didn't call me a racist bigot so you have it all over him.

    there's another thread.

regardless of the truth of the issue here--is obama trying to brainwash our kids?---the reality is that this is a PR lose for the GOP. even if no official GOP member comes out against it (but im sure tons will)

The GOP clearly wants no part of bi-partisanship either. So what is your point?

    Like I said. This:

Pelosi is the obstructionist here. And the Chosen One doesn't want to tangle with her. Cheney would've put cement in her botox.

I think the point is that it's disingenuous for anyone (not taking sides here) to point fingers at the other side and moan about partisanship when its clear that there is no effort to be bi-partisan coming from either side. Can we all agree on that?
