I have shot down these claims before Sourdough. The Pentagon spoksman himself said that the few old, inoperable chemical artillery shells found in Iraq that managed to escape 10 years of UNSCOM demolitions "were not the WMD's that we went to war over".

Are you seriously trying to suggest that the United States of America invaded Iraq because there was yellowcake ore in The Netherlands.

    Whaaaat...?

Absolutely. So why do you advocate us being there trying to do just that? These ragheads hate us and are trying to kill our soldiers. We owe them nothing. Why do you love them so much?

We leave it to them. It's not our fight.

Its the fault, responsibility, and legacy of George Bush. Attempts to blame it on the Democrats are absurd. The Senate, the House and the White House were all republican. History is going to blame George Bush and his cronies.

Hogwash. I challenge you to document this ridiculous claim. Now the war is Clintons fault!

The Arabs became pissed at us in 1973 when we supported the Israelis in the Yom Kippur War. Before that, there were few issues. Most Arab countries are still our allies. One of the collosal blunders of your hero Bush was taking on all of the Muslim World instead of concentrating on the few thousand Al Qaida terrorists that attacked us.

You are the only person in the world who believes this.

    No. It wasn't.

Clinton destroyed his anti-aircraft radars, control bunkers, missiles, and gun emplacements in retaliation. THAT was the proper response. Bush NEVER used no-fly zone violations as a pretext for war. You are confused.

    No. It wasn't.

We had complete air superiority over Iraq for ten years before Bush's War. They were helpless to defend themselves against us, much less attack America. There was never a need to invade.

I was not advocating that. We cannot leave them without a stable government and military. That would be a mistake. We owe them only that much because that's what we took from them.

It is our fight while we're there. We have to reestablish their military and police.

Of course it will be his legacy. Nobody blamed it on the Democrats. It was a decision made by the Congress and the President together. The President is an honorable man because he still stands by the decisions he made. It's the Democrats who change their positions and lies with the political winds.

Google it. Am I mistaken that there were no significant changes in the leadership of the CIA and FBI from the end of the Clinton administration to the vote that sent us to Iraq? I didn't say it was Clinton's fault. The blame for the bad intel does not rest entirely on the Bush administration.

Maybe you should brush up on your history. Arab countries are our allies? You and I see this on different levels. This war isn't political, it's a religious war. Any self-respecting muslim hates the U.S. and Israel, the Koran demands it. We are "infidels", or those of us with any allegiance to Jesus Christ.

Arabs hate Jews and Christians and will never rest until we are all dead. Nothing else matters to these people. You may have the last word.

Then maybe you should be more accurate when stating Imaginary WMD's?
If they are so harmless lets drop them on your house?
Please shoot down the Greenpeace article.

Nope because you didn't read the either article.

Thats what I thought about imaginary wmd's in Iraq

    Are you serious?
I know you are against the war but you are going to take Saddam's side to prove your point?

Disagree but I am the only person that believes that wmd could still be in Iraq
or they could be in Syria like Saddam's air force, that is logical.
I am probably the only one that still believes Soviet Union still exists in reality
    with only the name changing!
I think you are the only person in America that believes that Imaginary wmd's
    were in Iraq.
I actually agree here these days but I still support the war and troops even
though I wish it never would've happened.

Well, the surge has already accomplished one thing by getting Al Sadr to flee Iraq for Iran, right after the surge was announced. Doesn't seem like that is going to be good for the Mahdi Army morale that their leader fled because he was scared of being killed/taken prisoner.

Right. A 'better idea' to fix this monumental screw-up. The next election will be won on who can present the best idea to clean up W's mess. See, the reason that so many people (the ones who didn't believe the lies) were against the invasion in the first place is because they knew that it would come to this. They knew that we'd be stuck there with no way out, nothing to constitute victory, and monitoring a civil war.
No, that was CajunPunk. Now, what does that have to do with anything???
Not so fast. It was this 'ignorant mass' that elected Bush twice. You can't have it both ways.

However, I do wholeheartedly disagree with red on this one. There are plenty, PLENTY of ignorant Americans. Electoral results aren't a good indicator, as the political tide has turned every so often throughout our nation's history. But there are numerous other manifestations...like American Idol.
