I know, you would think they would know better. Oh well, i've never been a big Clark fan anyway. Now, I wouldn't mind Bill Richardson getting the Dem nomination though. I could see myself voting for him if someone like Romney, or McCain is the Rep nominee.
I don't think either of them will get the chance to try. I never paid much attention to primaries; how do they work? It seems to me if you've got a black, a woman, and a mexican going after the democratic nomination, they split the minority vote which means John Edwards light bread self will get the nod. I guess they might get Richardson to back out with a promise of the vice pres nomination, more than likely he just threw his hat in the ring to force someone to pick him as his running mate in exchange for pulling out and freeing up some of the minority vote in the democratic primary. Then again, I really have no idea and I thought this up off the top of my head. I don't really like democrats, except for that Zell Miller guy, and I think he retired. I liked Sonny Montgomery too.
do not worry friends, rudy g has officially announced his candidacy. he will win a landslide over hillary, and be one of the best presidents ever.
You really need to check your facts dude before responding. Like I said, its too close to call but Hillary "CLEARLY" doesnt have the majority of the country. Furthermore, her ratings are not "going up" with every new poll. Her ratings have been pretty much static for a year with recent ups "AND" downs. Again, you have not fully comprehended the polling data or you would know this. Martin isnt really off either. Not sure why your rolling on the floor laughing because the very poll you say to look at, USA Today, shows Rudi beating Hillary with a much higher favorable rating. Here's the Big 4 from USA Today Favorable Rating Clinton 2007 Feb 9-11 58% Obama 2007 Feb 9-11 53% McCain 2007 Feb 9-11 57% Rudy 2007 Feb 9-11 66% Head to Head Hillary vs McCain/Rudi Hillary 50% McCain 47% Rudi 50% Hillary 48%
No, I'm not kidding. Bush isn't trying to solve the conflict. He's trying to get the new Iraqi government in position to control their own issues. The liberals are trying to make political capital out of anything they can without any atttempt at offering a better idea. If I recall correctly, I think you were the one pointing out "petty", however incorrect, mistakes.
Clark is one of the ones with a smaller campaign chest that can't afford a long campaign. If he's smart he will lay back and let the frontrunners take the heat and the shots and seriously start campaigning next December. The field will be smaller and the road shorter and cheaper. He could be the medicine for those uncomfortable with Hillary/Obama. A military man with a ton of international political experience. A white male, fairly young, very smart, and mostly non-partisan moderate. Chuck Hagel is likely to do the same late-entry thing on the Republican side. All the other republicans, led by McCain, are losing their moderate support by backing The Surge. By next December when it is apparent that it failed badly, it will lose conservative support too, and the Republican candidates who supported it will tank. Hagels opposition will get him many of those moderate votes when he enters the race and starts campaigning seriously.
That's for damn sure. And not doing very good job of it. Typical conservative failure to listen. The democrats have offered their ideas many times. Here is the most formal one, from March 2006: REAL SECURITY: Protecting America and Restoring our Leadership in the World Bi-partisan high-level study groups have offered a plan. The Iraq Study Group Report But Bush is staying the course with the plan that has failed for four years and is even losing Republican support, while absolutely screwing their election prospects in 2008. Republican Opposition to Iraq Plan Grows How long are the Bush apologists going to ride the hellbound train?
If WE cared half as much about statistics in this country as we seem to do when we are in another country this country would be far better off. Such as the crimes and problems at the borders! Bush and the Democrats do have something in common. They are both for unprotected borders and amnesty for Illegals. The Democrats see it as an opportunity for future voters because they can become part of the welfare system and get free healthcare, etc. The numbers of Illegals coming into this country can tip the scales to the Democrats permanently. Illegals have it better in this country than most citizens. Bush just must be lost on this issue or does he only care about himself? BTW: I've said it before and I'll say it again, Hillary has 0 chance of ever being president in this country. She has a snow balls chance in hell of becoming president, not going to happen.
