The election has started a year early and it's horrible. It keeps anybody from running unless they have billions of dollars and the patronage that comes with them. It also gives the media and the public two years to find all the holes in any candidates pitch. I predict most of the frontrunners will be shot down this year and surprise candidates will emerge when the primaries start up in a year.
technically a majority is more than half, so 50% doesnt really count. she has a plurality. that poll only shows mitt romney as the candidate people can beat with a majority.
Hillary 50 John 44 Unsure/other 6 I'll take my chances that a few of the 6% of the people surveyed would vote for Hillary. Sure it might not be a "majority" (though we don't know the decimal number  ) but it shoots your Hillary<Huessin<John theory out of the water.
like i said, we shall see. i dont think the US is ready for a half black or female president. i could be wrong though. (i wasn't 100% serious about my names theories, but i wasnt totally kidding either). either way i wouldnt get too hung up on polls, as i believe most of them had kerry picked to be prez right now.
You really need to look at the polling site closer. It has most of the major polls combined in one report. Its easy to navigate and a good source. The most Hillary has is 50%, not a majority and its only in one poll. Several other reputable polls have her behind. Take your pick. Like I said, its way to close to call but you clearly cant say that a majority of the country is backing Hillary. The statistical contradictions to that statement speak for themselves.
I just looked at the most recent poll at the top. Things change over time. Hillary's numbers are going up with each update of a poll. Check the USA Today and Newsweek.
What's the deal with Wesley Clark? I know that he is (or at least was) running again. But his name never even comes up in the discussion. Certainly, the Democrats know that nominating Obama or Hillary would be essentially forfeiting the election. Why doesn't Clark get more pub? I would think that the Dems would push for a military guy to get nominated. He's got the best chance of reaching across party lines based on that fact alone.
Clark actually made very disparaging remarks about Jews running the media, so I think that pretty much puts him out this election. I'll look for the link later, i'm not really in the mood at the moment.
Dang. What is it with these people? Seems like everyone with any chance at a nomination says something stupid. You'd think that a lifetime of grooming would prevent stuff like that.
