No, SabanFan said "Obama is trying to appease the left so nothing gets done. The moderates have no say." Which is clearly BS, as I pointed out.

Obama said during the campaign that he would get combat troops out of Iraq in 16 months. After talking with the commanders he has set a schedule for them to be out of Iraq next August of 2010, which would be 18 months after he took office on January 21, 2009.

If that's all you've got to call him a liar, I'm laughing out loud.

When did the words "pragmatic" and "prudent" become buzzwords and not everyday vernacular?

You got me. I got end don't ask don't tell within 100 days confused with out of iraq in 16 months. Between the other lies and failures I can't keep it all straight.

Those words are buzzwords for red. I think he has a quota for daily usage.

he has also totally reversed his stance on wiretapping.

In Warrantless Wiretapping Case, Obama DOJ's New Arguments Are Worse Than Bush's | Electronic Frontier Foundation

of course, i agree with obama's current stance. but i knew all along that he was lying. he has no principles. bush was terrible but had principles.

and lets be honest, obama knew along that the promises he was making were not going to happen, they were just to appease the idiotic left. close guantanamo? yeah right, not as easy as it sounds. end iraq war? no chance.

my question, and i think many of us here are wondering, is why do you defend obama so much? why do you love him so? he is just a politician, he makes mistakes. you are not required to adore every single thing he does. that isnt prudent or balanced.

He is not quoted as saying one damn thing about wiretapping. The quote cited is . . .

""invoked a legal tool known as the 'state secrets' privilege more than any other previous administration to get cases thrown out of civil court."

That's just a statement of fact.

Obama's wiretapping stand enrages many supporters - nytimes

"uring the Democratic primary campaign, Obama vowed to fight such legislation to update the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA. But he has switched positions..."

dont worry, even though some of your liberal followers are annoyed, red still remains loyal, even through your policy reversals.
