Whoever wins this election will probably only recieve a vote from 20-25% of all Americans. I realize kids can't vote and there are numerous elderly people, mental illness, etc. The point is whoever wins may pretend that the people have spoken but I don't think that will really be the case. Many people won't vote because they can't or just never do. Others won't vote because they don't consider either candidate to be presidential material. Many will vote for a candidate simply to vote against the other guy. People can support either party but the realization is we really don't have a quality candidate this election. It seems to get worse every four years. According to the electoral college, we can expect to be up late on election night trying to determine a winner. It looks like we also may be waiting for a potential recount. Unfortunately that means the media will go crazy trying to be the first to report a winner. :dis:
