There is no physical proof that we are facing peak oil because the "proven" reserves are just estimates themselves, nobody really knows how much oil is them. But that's a different discussion.

i have always liked that red is desperately worried about peak oil as well as climate change, but unwilling to acknowledge that one solves the other. liberals need as many doomsday scenarios as possible in order to justify controlling others.
