Get informed about this case. There are direct accusations that the Dept of Justice prohibited prosecutions in voter intimidation cases where the defendant was black and the victim was white. This is a case with racial overtones which could go as high as Holder himself. You shrug it off saying I'm racist or playing the race card. I'm giving you facts that you apparently are unaware of.
BLACK POWER !!!!!!!!!!!! under "white" supervision, of course..... just teasing.,.,don't get any drawers wadded up....
man that surely sounds familiar, oh thats right, something you accuse me of all the time.. definitely not unaware, just not buying into your usual bs, im well aware of this case, funny you don't bring things like this up when its the other way around, but when I do, you say Im pulling the race card. next time I bring up race, dont open your damn mouth about the race card.
Let me know when that Eldridge Cleaver chip is off your shoulder and then we'll discuss whether the Obama administration is trading it's minority status for votes.
My last name is Black, does that count?opcorn: Btw, I don't believe any good can come out of Washington Dc. Not gonna happen!
I'm going to try and make this as simple as I can. Two Black Panthers, in uniform, one with a nightstick in his hand, were posted outside a polling place in Philadelphia. According to eyewitnesses, one of whom is a lifelong civil rights attorney, they were verbally harrassing white voters. With that testimony as well as videotaped evidence, the Department of Justice prosecuted the 2 Black Panthers and got a default judgement against them because they didn't even show up for trial. In other words, they were convicted of Voter Harrassment, a violation of the 1965 Voter's Rights act. Without explanation, Senior Administration Officials including the Assistant Attorney General ordered the charges dropped. There are allegations that no voter harrassment cases are to be prosecuted where the perpetrators are black and the victims are white. This comes from the DOJ attorney who actually prosecuted the case and later resigned in protest over the dropping of the charges. I'm trying to foster a discussion of this case which clearly has a racial component to it. You, on the other hand, toss out accusations of racism without even commenting on the topic. I am not the bigot here, my friend.
This whole situation should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. These type of deals have been documented for a long time and those inebriated on the kool-aid just brushed it off as fox news spewing hatred. It is sad, but it is typical. funny, been to msn.com and cnn.com and no mention of the story. Hmm:huh:
