Why does the right think that Tort Reform is the champion that will save healthcare? Band Aid on a bullet wound.

some company should start a really exclusive but cheap insurance company for healthy people. you would be required to not smoke, be under 55, not drive a car, be able to bench 75% of your weight, run a 6.5 minute mile, and keep a BMI under 25. it would be so cheap, healthy folks could get it and stop paying the bills for the rest.

    Silly rabbit.

You're paying it now because you're going to change teams at some point and then you will need it and still be able to afford it.

No, they aren't. They are better at reducing their overhead, which they replace with more profits, . . . not at reducing your costs.

that will be easier if i can save money now and invest it, wouldn't it?

i dont mean to say that i am the healthiest person ever, but imagine if i was, wouldnt it be fair if i wanted no part of paying into a system that is for average americans, most of whom eat like lunatics and watch two and half men while killing sacks of cheetos?

Yes, but you would be assuming all of the risk. You would be uninsured.

Fair to who? And when you need a $35,000 kidney transplant? Or when you get run over by a midtown bus and spend 10 month in the hospital? They'll take you to Belleview and the taxpayers pay for it.

    Freeloader. Liberal.

If nothing else, this idea is beneficial in that Congress might have the chance to actual read and get to understand what it is they're voting on.
